A painter of figures and landscapes.  Works in oil, acrylic, ink, wash, pencil and charcoal. Sculpts in Cretan stone. 

Studies:  1935 – 38 Tonbridge Art School, Kent, UK

Profile:  A member of the NSA and the Highway Art Group. Teaches art privately in Natal. 1942 lived in Ceylon, Sri Lanka; 1953 – 58 in Malaysia.

Exhibitions:  He has participated in several group exhibitons from 1962 in SA; 1970 Lister Gallery, Johannesburg, first of 10 solo exhibitions held in SA .
